Hildebrandt speaks on Human rights and AI systems (18 October 2021)

The Symposium Human Rights in the Digital Sphere brings together speakers from different legal systems and jurisdictions, experts and governmental representatives to exchange views, while tackling the complexity of protecting human rights in the digital sphere in our daily lives activities.

Mireille Hildebrandt takes part in the roundtable discussion of the panel on Human rights and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. The panel aims to present, in an accessible way, the main issues raised by AI systems with reference to human rights. It will address issues related to discrimination with decision support systems, both public and private, the emergence of code-driven law and data driven law and legal responses envisaged by Council of Europe and the European Union.
